Warehouse Associate (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Associates for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, packing, shipping, and general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Organize, stock, and replenish inventory as needed
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities
- Maintain accurate records of materials and products
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as authorized
- Verify order accuracy and conduct quality checks
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Follow company policies and procedures while meeting productivity goals
- Assist with other warehouse-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, distribution, or inventory experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
- Perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse environment
- Work safely in a fast-paced setting
